Arab leaders have issued statements as the Israeli apartheid regime intensifies its bombing across Syrian territory following the fall of Bashar al-Assad's government.

Qatar, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia have condemned the actions of the Israeli apartheid regime in seizing land in Syria near the occupied Golan Heights, as the Israeli occupation forces continue to execute air strikes across the nation. The Qatari Foreign Ministry described the Israeli incursion as a dangerous development, asserting it constitutes a blatant attack on Syria’s sovereignty and unity, along with a flagrant violation of international law. Such actions exacerbate tensions in the region, leading to further violence.

In its statement, the Saudi Arabian government condemned the Israeli actions, which it views as a further violation of international law and an attempt to undermine Syria's potential for security and stability. The kingdom's Foreign Ministry emphasized the necessity for the international community to denounce this campaign, reiterating that the Golan Heights is an occupied Arab territory. Similarly, Iraq's government echoed these sentiments, labeling Israel's actions as a grave violation of international law and urging the UN Security Council to take action against this aggression.

Following the overthrow of former President Bashar al-Assad, the Israeli occupation forces quickly seized the buffer zone that separates the occupied Golan Heights from Syrian-controlled areas. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that the occupied Golan Heights will remain with Israel "for eternity," thanking US President-elect Donald Trump for recognizing Israel’s claimed sovereignty over the territory. Such actions are in direct violation of international law, which prohibits the acquisition of land by force.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres's spokesman criticized the Israeli land grab, stating it violates the 1974 disengagement agreement between Israel and Syria. The UN peacekeeping force deployed in the Golan Heights, known as UNDOF, noted that Israel's actions breach this agreement. In addition to the land incursion, the Israeli occupation forces have conducted extensive bombing campaigns across Syria since the recent change in the Syrian government, targeting various military sites and airbases.
